We had a good time last night. The drive through downtown was awesome. 15 of the cleanest cars driving by bums, cops writing tickets, and blasting through the 3rd st. tunnel. The lighting was so bad (orange) at the place we parked. The lot was awesome for a meet though. It's always good seeing the homeys!
I feel like I overlooked this VW with the thousands of 4th gens done up cleanly. This guy is rocking good fitment with power to back up the aggressive look of his hood, stance, and wheels. The 1.8t is powered by a gt3076r turbo with forged rods, external wastegate, and supporting mods. The car will come to a nice stop also with porsche calipers in place. For a complete mod list follow the link below.
This is how a well rounded WRX is done. He has the fitment and stance down nicely. The color combo pops, but it doesn't look tacky at all. He has power, suspension, and safety equipment to back up the looks of this super clean WRX.
Get ahold of Jay Pizarro's new ride. Every car he builds is top notch. He's been hanging around with the Fatlace crew for a long time now. I can't wait to see this in action soon!
Roo from our WFC forum has been working on getting his fitment down. He's done a great job of keeping his S13 clean too. It's not the common beater status you see so many S13's looking like these days. He recently swapped his CA18 for a SR20 also.
I drove from west LA to downtown LA again this weekend to check out showoff cafe’s Mega Matsuri car show. I really like the idea of the event. Bring together import car old and new, ruckus owners, bike riders, and merge everything together with the lifestyle stuff we enjoy. I think with a little better planning this event will be pretty good next year. This year it was a little dry. It had everything you wanted to see, but you wanted to see alot more of it.
This kid just doesn't stop. I was able to drive this car for about 30 minutes yesterday, and it made my 300whp STI feel like poop. He's got it dialed in extremely well. The wheels were just fitted yesterday by Apollo performance in Upland, CA. The specs are 18x9.5 +38 with 265/35/18 tires. It will be coming down another inch very soon also.
Here's one of wrong fitment's own ripping it up at the track recently. There's something special about lifting wheels, smoking tires, and doing it all on perfect fitment!
Wrong Fitment Crew as we call it. The name came from the subaru forums alot of us post on. We would call it aggressive fitment or flush (hellaflush) while the haters would talk about how it looks like we bought the wrong wheels for our rides. Come visit the WFC forums... it's for everyone!
