New Project....Kin's E93 vert Pt.1

So a good friend of mine has this E93 for awhile now and he's been asking me to help setup his whip for quite sometimes. So after doing some research, he finally has the courage to hand over the keys and wants my friends and I to show him a thing or two about aggressive fitment.

We all thought installing coilovers would be easy since this is what we do for living. But No!! so turns out removing front suspension of a E93 is a pain in the ass!! It took us more than 4+ hours just to get the fronts finished. Also, if you ever need to work on these new 3-series E9Xs, watch out for these plastic front fenders. yes you heard it, front PLASTIC f&*king fenders (more on this subject later on..)... so glad nothing happened during the install, and I am glad that I don't have these problems on my

The front suspension was totally different than previous gen. e36/46.. took us more than 4+ hours to get the fronts in. (hey, but can't complain when getting paid)
We opt'd for Megan Racing Euro Street Series because of its price. For the price, you can't really beat it. At first, we were skeptical about the quality of these. But after seeing them in person, we are very impressed with Megan. They have stepped up their game in terms of overall quality. Thanks to Nelson @ Megan Racing! More info on this product please click here.

Rear suspension was straight forward.. very similar to the E46. But since Kin's E93 is a convertible.. it gave us fucking hell! The trunk was small and tight due to the retractable top. If it was just a regular coupe, we could have knocked this out for a lot less time. FUCKER!

putting back the trunk panels and pieces were so fucking pain in the ass.. Jackee (the grease monkey) almost cried lol

A set of VMR VB3 in 19x9.5 and 19x10 will be on this weekend after the suspension is more settled in..

To be continued...
